On November 15, 2024, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation hosted an extraordinary event that transformed the concept of "office hours" into a powerhouse of collaboration and innovation. This groundbreaking gathering brought together some of the most influential foundations in the region—including the Burke Foundation, Johnson Controls Foundation, Nonprofit Management Fund, Northwestern Mutual Foundation, Siebert Lutheran Foundation, United Way of Greater Milwaukee Foundation, and Zilber Family Foundation—with a diverse array of nonprofits dedicated to driving change.
More than just a meet-and-greet, this event became a catalyst for dynamic partnerships and shared strategies. Leaders from both sectors engaged in rich conversations.
For Health Equity Leadership Partnership Global (HELP Global), this event represented its vision of aligning with like-minded organizations to amplify impact. HELP Global is uniquely positioned to fulfill the agenda behind many foundation strategies, advancing a shared mission to tackle health disparities through thoughtful, collaborative approaches.
"Health issues do not live in compartments," said a HELP Global representative. "They are interconnected, and so must be the solutions. Leveraging collective expertise and resources creates sustainable change."
HELP Global isn’t looking to reinvent the wheel. Instead, it seeks to enhance existing efforts, complementing the innovative work of foundations and organizations by building bridges between health leaders and community stakeholders. HELP Global thrives on shared missions, offering expertise and strategic alignment that empower foundations to see their visions realized. Together, we can turn bold ideas into meaningful, measurable change.
